Pay for the role is $25.40 - $33.14 Hourly As part of the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office, the Telecommunicator is involved in all aspects of public safety in Outagamie County. Our mission is to work in partnership with our community and other public service agencies to protect and serve the citizens of Outagamie County. Our Communications Center is a fast-moving dynamic team where success is defined by public and responder safety. If you're passionate about public safety and helping those in emergencies, we need dedicated professionals to join us and make an impact in our community. This is a full-time position that works a 49-day schedule rotation. 5 on 3 off, 5 on 3 off, 5 on 3 off, 5 on 4 off, 4 on 4 off, 4 on 4 off in perpetuity. Weekends and holidays are required. Shifts are 10 hours long. They are: 04:00-14:00, 08:00-18:00, 13:00-23:00, 18:00-04:00, 22:00-08:00. Shifts are picked once a year. Every October Telecommunicators submit their preferred shift(s) and management assigns the shifts based on seniority. After the shift is assigned the Telecommunicator works their assigned shift for the following calendar year from January 1st until December 31st.
