Dr. Ashok Rai - Prevea Health
Dr. Ashok Rai is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Prevea Health – a physician-led, physician-owned multispecialty health care provider working in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) hospitals across Wisconsin, including St. Nicholas hospital right here in Sheboygan. Prevea Health was founded in Green Bay, Wis. in 1996, and today employs more than 2,400 people, including more than 500 providers and advanced practice providers. Dr. Rai is also a practicing internal medicine physician and Regent for the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents.
Laurie A. Carter - Lawrence University
Laurie A. Carter joined Lawrence University as its 17th president on July 1, 2021, bringing with her more than 25 years of leadership experience in higher education. In her short time as President, Carter has brought a sense of urgency to the Lawrence community. Recognizing the need for Lawrence to be well-positioned in an ever-changing higher education landscape, Carter implemented student-centered Guiding Coalitions to facilitate more effective change implementation at the university. Additionally, she has identified focused investment priorities through community-wide engagement that will position Lawrence to anticipate and meet the challenges of the future.
John Schmidt - U.S. Venture
John Schmidt is President & CEO of U.S. Venture, a $14B innovative leader in the distribution of renewable and traditional energy products, lubricants, tires and parts, and using data-driven insights to manage energy and information in the global movement of goods. From humble beginnings over 70 years ago in Kimberly, Wisconsin, the company has expanded to establish a national footprint, and under John’s leadership, the privately held company has grown exponentially. His skill at taking calculated risks has allowed the company to achieve record growth and profitability, while his deep knowledge of the energy and transportation industries has enabled the company to position itself as a vital strategic partner to customers across the supply chain.
