2024 PULSE Lunch 'n Learn

PULSE's Professional Development Committee is hosting a Lunch 'n Learn featuring presenters Chris Burns and James Kilsdonk (and a taco bar for lunch)!

Topics that will be covered are:

• Cyber Safety/Online Awareness
• Use of AI
• Uses of virtual platform (gather vs sell info)
• Privacy Cookies
• Marketing and Branding yourself without being consumed, scheduling posts
• Recommendations for “disconnecting”
• Personal branding

Presenter: Chris Burns
Chis is a published author, podcaster, and serial entrepreneur who owns and operates five different businesses. His passion for business has always been digital marketing where he has more than 20 years of experience while helping hundreds of businesses grow and scale by doubling down on digital. In 2021 Chris started his own marketing consulting business and in 2022 started teaching social media marketing as an adjunct professor at UW-Wisconsin Oshkosh. 


Presenter: James Kilsdonk

James Kilsdonk is Vice President, Commercial Lender for Abby Bank and responsible for growing the commercial client portfolio through loan production and cash management operations. James is also involved in Abby’s Northeast Wisconsin growth and strategy model.

James is a Fox Valley native and holds a degree in Marketing with a focus on analytics and financial business operations. He’s taken part in several Risk Management Association and Wisconsin Bankers Association courses to assist in his growth. He is a 2019 graduate of the Leadership Fox Cities program through the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and a 2019 Fox Cities Future 15 winner. He was nominated in 2021 and 2023 for the Fox Cities Young Professional of the Year. In 2021 James won the Distinguished Alumni award from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. James serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Fox Cares Foundation, and on the Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin. James is also the 2024 PULSE Advisory Board President and a Mentor in the PULSE mentorship program.
