America now loses over 110,000 people to accidental overdoses every year. But the impact reaches far beyond the deaths and is taxing our human services, child protection, criminal justice, law enforcement, EMS, treatment and health care systems nearly to their breaking points ... not to mention the impact on families and businesses in the Fox Cities.
Judge Brad Schimel will draw on 35 years in the justice system to talk in depth about the nature of this epidemic, how we got here, what we are doing about it, and what else needs to be done. A representative from Appleton Police Department will also discuss the local epidemic and its impact. Every one of us has an opportunity to be part of the solution. Come learn how you can help.
