Colored Gels and Ice

Play with lights, coloring gels and ice to create colorful out of this world scenes and abstract art. Get assistance with editing your images and leave with a print. Bring a camera with a macro lens, or don’t! We’ll provide all the gear needed for this. We’ll have multiple camera kits of varying complexity and will assist with lighting, coloring and composing YOUR image! If you want to bring your own gear, feel free to do so! We’ll have ice, plenty of it. Krystal Kleer Ice Sculptures is providing some of the finest clear ice, and we’ll be freezing different variations. The sample photos were taken with ice from the fridge and some frozen in a to-go container. We might play around with trying to freeze some glitter or other fun inclusions. Bring Your On Ice if you want to get fancy, just promise that you’ll share! This is a family friendly event, perfect for parents and young artists that like to create! This will be a free-flowing hands-on workshop. There will be a brief instruction on the different camera and light setups and the editing and printing process, then it’ll be off to play!
