Appleton North HS Theatre Department announces the return of its popular annual Haunted House “A Night to Dismember—2021” in the school auditorium Fri., Oct. 22, and Sat., Oct. 23. Hours both days are from 1 to 4 pm and 6 to 10 pm. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Tickets are available at the door. This year’s house will include many new rooms and hair-raising surprises. Over 100 members of North’s Drama Club create the spine-chilling cast of characters that inhabit the house. The popular non-scary flashlight tours will be available (all hours the house is open) for younger children or those “weak of heart.” Carnival games, a mini-inflatable haunted house for little ones, a costume contest, and a bake sale will also be featured. Proceeds from the haunted house help fund theatre activities and productions at North. Several covid protocols have been established for this year’s haunted house including locating the patron wait line to outside the school to allow for increased distancing, increased social distancing within the house itself, patron podding, locating concessions and carnival games outside on the North patio, sanitation stations located both outside and inside, and a requirement that all patrons and participants be fully masked at all times.
