Lunch and Learn: Preparing for Your Future Business Transition

Foley & Lardner LLP and Journey Consulting are partnering to offer a Lunch & Learn interactive roundtable discussion on January 24, 2024. Most business owners we work with have not considered the “what if?” Unfortunately, the unexpected happens more than 50% of the time, and planning, preparation, and risk mitigation have not taken place. Even if it’s not the unexpected, without the proper planning, many issues can arise for business owners. The program facilitators include, Jayne McQuillan and Steve Barth. Jayne McQuillan is the owner of Journey Consulting, best-selling author of “The Value Journey,” and a recognized exit/transition planning expert who is passionate about educating small to mid-size business owners on how to position yourself to strategically grow your business and exit on your own terms. Steve Barth was the long-time chair of Foley & Lardner’s national M&A practice group. He specializes in the sale, and generational transition, of legacy family-owned businesses. Steve has represented over 50 families in their sale or transition.
