CASA of the Fox Cities is holding a Ribbon Cutting/10th Anniversary event. We want to invite our community to walk through our new offices, meet staff and volunteers, and celebrate 10 years of impacting the lives of children in the child welfare system.
CASA of the Fox Cities or Court Appointed Special Advocates is dedicated to training volunteers who judges assign to monitor children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Volunteers meet with these children regularly and provide monthly reports to the court. Judges then will use those reports to determine what is in the best interests of these vulnerable children.
Every year hundreds of children in our community enter the child welfare system. These children have several people coming in and out of their lives; foster parents, social workers, Guardians, ad litem, and the list goes on. Our mission is to provide each child who has experienced neglect and abuse with a Court Appointed Special Advocate. This consistent, trained, caring adult can ensure the child’s needs are being met during this critical time in their life and look out for the child’s best interests.
