Palmer Group is partnering with a client looking for a Journeyman Maintenance Technician. In this position, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot site instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment to ensure safe operations and maximize production availability. Responsibilities:
- Perform necessary repairs and tasks on controls, instruments, and electrical systems efficiently to restore and uphold safe conditions
- Follow vendor specifications and maintenance procedures to install and validate new instruments, control, and electrical systems, utilizing drawings, manuals, or blueprints
- Suggest modifications to existing instruments, controls, electrical systems, or equipment to enhance reliability and accuracy or optimize processes further
- Recommend tools, equipment, or techniques to enhance the safety and efficiency of system repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to meet acceptable housekeeping standards
- Communicate any changes made to existing instrument, control, or electrical systems to ensure accurate site records and complete necessary documentation
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience
- Journeyman’s license
Work Model:
- On-Site
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
