Under general supervision of the Public Health Unit Supervisor, provides nursing services which are general, comprehensive, and ongoing, with the dominant responsibility to the population as a whole. Nursing services are directed to individuals, families, or population groups. Health promotion, health maintenance, health education, and management, coordination, and continuity of care are utilized in a holistic approach. Public Health Nursing is a synthesis of nursing practice and Public Health science. Performs related duties as required.
